Inter-Municipal Coordination Committee |
|||
The purpose of the Inter-municipal Coordination Committee (ICC) is to represent a balance of interests among the many stakeholders in the project area. The ICC serves as an advisory group to the Project Team. ICC members are asked to serve as liaisons between PennDOT and the general public, relaying important engineering and environmental information to fellow citizens, while communicating important community values and concerns to the Project Team. Committee members meet periodically to discuss current issues relevant to public input for the project. PennDOT has elected to establish an ICC to enhance public participation. The ICC provides another opportunity for community interests to be involved in the I-83, Exits 18 and 19 Improvements Project. It should be noted that the formation of an ICC in no way replaces the use of general public meetings. Rather, an ICC increases potential feedback from the public between the scheduled general public meetings. Citizens are invited to review the list of ICC members and contact them to voice questions or concerns about the project. ICC Meeting Dates February 27, 2007 |
